Sana lang may program dito sa bansa natin para magkaroon ng start up league dahil gaya ng mga Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese na naglalaro ngayon sa MLB na yumayaman like 2 way phenom player na si Shohei Ohtani ng Dodgers na may 10y $700M largest contract in North American sports history dahil sa kaniyang angking talento na pwede din naman natin madiskubre at mahubog dito sa atin. Baseball kasi ang isa sa sports na di kailangan na matangkad ka gaya na lang ni Jose Altuve ng Astros na 5'6" lang pero ginagamit ang speed at hustle. At sa mga Dominican Republic players na galing din sa mga probinsiya halos ang magagaling na players ngayon.

Mayroon dati. Ang tawag ay Baseball League Philippines or simply Baseball Philippines. It was established in 2007 but folded after 5 years. Nalugi dahil walang suporta lalo na sa publiko. It was revive in 2019 at tinawag na Philippine Baseball League o PBL, pero one season lang ito at agad nagsara dahil lugi. Gaya ng dati, walang suporta sa publiko.

FYI, baseball used to be a popular sport in the country, second to basketball. The Philippine National Baseball team even defeated Japan in the gold medal game in the first Asian Baseball Championships in 1954. However, its popularity declined in the 1960s because of politics.

@@ibure that's my opinion, it's shouldn't be called a match. A match is something that a team of 2 is competing each other but in this game, the Thailand team seems like they just learned how to play baseball for 2 weeks. Kahit pag catch nalang, lagi pang supalpal? I'm not saying na malakas team natin or malakas ako or kaya ko pa silang higitan, pero it's true too na sobrang panget nilang mag laro at hindi ko ito nagustuhan kaya sinabi ko ang totoo at naramdaman ko. Umiyak kalang jan kung gusto mo pero I said what I said. It's better to say the harsh truth rather telling some beautiful lies. They need to do better. So sobrang panget nilang mag laro, sa kanila ako kumampe habang pinapanood ko'to dahil sa sobrahang panget nilang mag laro. Tinanong mo kung ganito ugali ko? I don't know if ganyan ba basehan mo sa ugali ng tao but I'd rather say na this is my attitude, the one who tells honestly and not lie just for the sake of " 'cuz it might hurt their feelings" when in fact that it's the fact.
