Why in the world is it called AirFloss when it's using liquid?

@@Philips yes the airfloss handle is ok it's the refill station does not pump anything when you place the handle in the charging station you can see the charging station light flash ok but when you dock it to initiate the pump there is a slight sound as though the pump won't turn but nothing even after repeated tries any ideas ? the airfloss has really helped my teeth and health and I really miss it thanks Dave

I have a question, which part powers the pump inside the charging station? does it have some kind battery integrated in it? Then how do I charge the station?

My base station doesn't pump to the flosser anymore. Is it possible that there is a separate battery for the pump and it ran out of battery? I don't see any power supply to the pump unit in the base station

what is the blue water called ? Can this product use with mouthwash ?

Thanks for your comment here, Khanh. The blue mouthwash is an Antibacterial Mouth Rinse (to.philips/6052GKzZ0). Also, you can use this product with mouthwash as long as it doesn't contain essential oils: to.philips/6053GKzZF. Hope this helps!

Hi Khanh, most mouthwashes can be used with your Philips Sonicare AirFloss. However, mouthwashes containing Isopropyl Myristate or high concentration of essential oils should not be used as they can damage the plastics in your AirFloss. Mouthwashes with high concentrations of essential oils are identifiable by their glass or ceramic containers. So, it is advisable to check your mouthwash's ingredients first, before using. I've been using the previous model for a little over a year but it recently broke down and I've ordered the pro model. One thing that I've noticed is that the newest model does not have as powerful of a jet as the older model used to, rendering it almost useless in my day to day usage. What's up with that? What is even the difference in jet power between the models?
