compre un reproductor de este modelo hace ya varios años, y el problema muy grande que tengo es que el manual e instrucciones dicen que solamente se pueden utilizar discos "CD Digita-Audio", no acepta ningun otro tipo de discos que no tengan el logo con esa marca, y he tratado de reprodicir discos comprados grabados originales que no tienen ese logo y no los reproduce, intento con CD-R y no los reconoce en la reproduccion

"CD Digita-Audio" es un standar para grabar audio de alta calidad, la verdad creo que necesitas limpiar el lente porque los discos originales es el principal formato de reproduccion

this is the one i have and i really love it...but sometimes it has a mind of it own and the only blank cds it will take is maxell gold ones...i am still trying to use the aux. to record records and such... i figured how to record youtube to it but the levels i cant adjust for some reason it records fine but after i record some songs i have to play the volume up to 30 to hear it......

johnm893My friend, the turntables have a very low output level, you can not connect a turntable directly to AUX input, you would need a preamplifier to reach the level of the AUX input. need a pre-amp or mixer, but you can use An output of your receiver, give me the model of your receiver

select analog input first (RCA red and White), press rec, then paly something form your xbox , adjust the level, if you have the same problem something is not right in your CDR , check that you are using the correct disc to record

hey bro I have another question I know how to work this machine but I'm having a problem on the front of the player when I'm playing music from my TV Thur analog the sound is not showing up in the volume section I'm talking about the right and left speaker. Symbols on the front of the player in now the sound is showing on the front of the player but nothing is even playing I have all of this plugged up to a mixer by the way

I did not understand well, but I think what you are saying is that you connected your TV to the recorder in the analog input, and you see the L/R signal on the display but it does not deliver audio to your mixer, is that right? 1- if you see the L/R signal on the display, the input (analog input) is correctly selected and the recording level is present 2- if the selector is in aux (line input) only the recording level is adjusted (which you already have) and you should have output audio, confirm that there is no output audio by bypassing the mixer

. . that's no auto off or timer, is overheating, Il recommend you to open the unit and clean up the inside.

i must be going crazy i thought i commented on this.......i have the very same model and i love it but my will only use maxell gold music cds...ive had the machine since it was new and i went through many unaccepted cds and stoppings etc..i just dnt know how to use all its features...too bad youre so far away it would be nice to have someone show me how ro do everything on it...

when you tell me original, I understand that it is a prerecorded CD (original artist), so you are not going to use it to record, you are using it to "play" it... instead, you mention that you put another CD to "record" and you get the error, this is because you may be using the wrong CD-R, see the manual of your machine to see what type of CD-R / CD-RW is compatible with your cd recorder

All , specially the power supply ,can be much dust and lint, blowing the entire unit, but could be damage on the power supply, some parts are heated and stop working (regulator voltage) is a rectangular thingy with 3 legs, first try to clean it, some times work, use a brush and compressed air.

Hi ive got this recorder and turntables and ive never used it for a mix for least a year and last night i decided to do a mix and after 40mins the recording stopped and i used to use JVC CD-R 74 MINS Disks and it woudnt finalize either..? So if i bought philips cd-r 80min disks will the mix continue right through to 80mins.?

Sony CD-R Audio 80min. TDK Music/Audio CD_RW 80 min. pero cuidado, no todos los CD players reproducen CD-RW, asi que te recomiendo usar unicamente CD-R

no es necesario que sean esas marcas, solo asegurate que sean "AUDIO", porque hay cd-r y cd-rw para PC unicamente (sin la palabra "audio")

Connect the main output from your mixer to the "analog input" on the CD Recorder. The cd recorder must be selected to "line input" (or Analog input, with the Aux button... I don't remember), then adjust the level and you're ready to go...
