Usando la equalizacion manual y el dbb no se puede pasar mas del primer nivel porque es simplemnte impresionante este equipo en cuanto a graves. No he visto ptro q sea tan brutal con los woofer. Lo probe con bafles de grx80 y los mato a mitad de volumen. Parece q sevan a desconar.

@@stBASS. actually I do have one it's the Panasonic SA AK 410 but it's not cool as the ones that you have I did add a Bluetooth chip into it and I do use it on regular bases

I used to own an FW392C, 1800 watt pmpo, 1997 model. It was their top range, while the sound quality was superb, (not sure what STK card it used), the speakers were horrible, would not be able to take bass at all, and I tried to have it fixed by their official repair place, but it was a design fault and they sent it back worst than before. The same year SOny had its Rx90 or GR8 models, less PMPO, but with 4 speakers, VACs for no distortion, DJ mix, etc...drum pads...both the FW392C and the SOny was the same price! I never got over it! haha

hahahaha what a sad story, just like in that year it was difficult to know which model was superior, now one clearly realizes that those Sony models were superior for their functions, sound quality and construction. those were the golden years of Sony. greetings friend!

@@stBASS. hah. so sad. Because in those days I couldnt go back and return it...i had to stay with it. I still crave for the sony rx90 model in new condition, with the drum pads and 4 speakers. I still remember the ads, they were so cool. Another model I really wanted was the Pioneer XR800 from 1997 with the linear power edgeless speakers. I dont know which model number, but one of them even had 2 edgeless speakers per speaker box! I remember how everyone went crazy for the quality of crisp, deep bass. Even speakers today cannot match the engineering of those speakers. Cost cutting measures means everything is cheap quality these days.

@@stBASS. I feel very lucky, I just got an almost brand new RX110 (1998 year). It has 4 speakers, but the front speakers are only 3 way (i dont like the small dome piezo tweeter, they are basically useless i think). The N.American model was only sold with these 3 way speakers for the RX100 and RX110 models. strangely!

El único que está a su nivel o lo supera es el que tuve el FWC 870. Monstruoso quemó sus parlantes originales, casi descona unos del FWM57 y movió como si nada unos de 18" de 8 ohms. Lo echo de menos. 😢

Exacto amigo, aunque ambos son potentes el 870 a mi gusto también es superior. El fw c85 y el fw c870 a mi parecer son los mejores Philips, todos los tengo actualmente y también hay videos de ellos. Saludos ✌🏼

Como se destaca en canciones de rock??

Este modelo en particular es bien apto para canciones rock porque tiene un bajo más dinámico y esto hace que este tipo de música se escuche bien natural y agradable al oído, no tanto así la música electrónica o el reggaeton ya que sus bajos dinámicos no cubren bien las frecuencias de estos tipos de música. Este Philips es bien similar a los aiwas de la época un sonido muy potente y unos bajos bien golpeados ideales para música rock, jazz, etc. Saludos

Son muy similares con el fw 870c, aunque podría decir que este fw 880p sigue aumentando los bajos cuando subes al volumen máximo, esto produce que en ocasiones los parlantes no aguanten la potencia desde el volumen 28 aprox. En cambio el 870c sobre volumen 20 los bajos se estancan lo que permite subir a alto volumen sin que los parlantes distorsionen, pero a mi gusto el sonido así no es tan agradable ya que suena fuerte pero le falta algo de peso. @@stBASS. no amigo. Es el de servicio para copiar el amplificador de ese equipo, yo tengo el integrado, me falta lo exterior para armarlo, si pones en google circuito amplificador stk te aparecen muchos hasta con el pcb pero del stk 417-120a q trae ese ekipo no.

Exacto, la suspensión de éstas Philips con el tiempo pierden sus propiedades y por eso no aguantan mucho a volumenes altos, por eso las mías las tuve que cambiar por unas de goma, quedó buenísimo. Saludos
