A great lamp, but I find your explanation very clear and the instruction manual not clear. It does not mention that the inside circle needs to be turned to open the lamp. That is mentioned on almost the last page. Thank you for showing it to me.

It is not a "cheap solution" it protects you from seeing the strip through the front and just gives it the glow that they are going for.

I've just installed it in my living room and I'm rather disappointed. It's supposed to be 2400lm light, but it is noticeably less bright (I'd guess ~10-20%) than a cheap E27 1000lm IKEA bulb that hangs next to it. Inside it has 40W led driver, so one might add an extra strip (while losing warranty) but it isn't worth its price tag. Well, It definitely goes back to the store.

It is ok for my bedroom, not super bright but good enough. For my livingroom though it is not powerful enough.

Det gøres med standard skruer som man skruer op i loftet. Mener den skal monteres med 3 skruer og naturligvis ravplugs hvis det er nødvendigt.

Yeah Philips hue is generally overpriced, but should last several years.

Osram isn't equal to quality anymore. the European versions of the Osram lamps are worse quality than Asia gets. I've had many Osram GU10 bulbs and I'm not impressed. also had 3 Osram E27 bulbs that only lasted 1-2 years in a room that had little use. Very hit or miss with Osram bulbs.
