Does nozzel tip for model 83xx can be used with model 82xx?

Great when first purchased but have quite a short life. I have had 5 of these in our family. All failed between 1/2 years. Faults have been, water gets in, will not charge, one would not stop pumping, battery not holding charge. green light just flashed.
