This is why I subscribed to your channel, for these Perfect Draft reviews - keep them coming! (I’m also loving your food reviews) I personally found the Cali Pale to be a good quality pint, but not really to my taste - a bit too “grapefruity” for me. I found I would only drink one at a time, so the keg lasted a while! I’d recommend the La Virgen 360 as a lighter (and more enjoyable to me) version of this.

You don’t need to worry too much with these PD kegs in regards to date. They only get 8 months date on them from kegging rather than the usual 12 months you get with cans/bottles. Add to this the fact they are all pasteurised means they do have a couple of months standing time after the BBE date before any significant changes to the beer profile happens. The colour of the beer is down to the pasteurisation process which alters the colour slightly and usually tiny rebel beers in cans are unpasteurised. This Cali pale is currently on Beerhawk on short dated deal for 3 kegs for £75 which is £25 a keg (£20 once you take your keg deposit into account) which is cheap for this. Joff 👍🍺

Love Tiny rebel, we were down in Somerset last week on holiday and my wife took me over the border to the brewery. Best day ever, I had the Cali, club tropica, easy living and the electric boogaloo. Beautiful beers, the food is spot on too.

Tiny rebel is probably my favourite brewery, really like the cali pale and currently drinking their 5 dollar shake which is quite nice

I'ts a cracking keg Simon but for me Mikkeller Heated Seats just has slightly more to it but not by much.

I am drinking the same beer with a date of April drink by, same as you ,beer cloudy who cares it smells fruity with a quality ipa taste, it’s a superb keg ,would recommend it any day ,do not be put off by the end date.

Happy Easter Simon 🐣! Only tiny rebel keg I haven’t tried on the PD, and the rest have been crackers so definitely one for the summer. Beer hawk have been selling short dated Tiny Rebel kegs for about £30, so I’m afraid you’ve been shafted a bit there! At least the beer was good 😂
