I had an electric razor like this that use4s a standard NiCad battery. I got tired of waiting for it to charge so I found a 1AA battery holder out of a solar garden light and it just happened to fit perfectly so I used that with my 15 minute rechargeable batteries. I no longer have that razor but I still have the rechargeable batteries but they barely work. I use a remington foil razor and those don't last long, The foils wear out and you can't buy replacements so I just buy a new one and make a fan out of the old one. Most recently I have two braun foil razors and so far they are lasting but I bet I'll be tearing one of those down soon.
