After seeing your many videos and fights between home theaters I too was confused to buy which home theater. I was looking for a good RMS output, with bluetooth, and led display 5.1 speakers to connect to my LG 42 LB550A LED TV. I am completely new to the audio system connections. All those RCA cables pin out, pin in etc., But, as my budget was restricted I bought this Philips SPA 4040B/94 yesterday. I was thinking to buy F & D 3800X because of its LCD Display. But, as the price was high in local stores, I bought this Philips SPA 4040B/94 as I trust Philips brand for the past 13 years. I bought it for Rs.5,000/- I am satisfied with the structure ( I mean wood cabinet, black and blue combination, wall mount facility for satellite speakers, user friendly). Later I connected the cables and tried Bluetooth from my phone. It worked flawlessly. Today I connected it to my LG TV, I got the sound excellent. But, I've a small doubt regarding this product. I get sound from only 4 satellite speakers and woofer, I tried to change the cables this way and that way. Whatever I do, I am getting only sound from only 4 speakers and woofer. Why like this? Can you please tell me how to get sound on 5 speakers plus woofer. Also on the back of satellite speakers, FL, SL, FR, SR & CEN are labelled. Can you explain me this please.

FL - front left FR front right SR surround right SL surround left CEN Center ..... They are the labels so that you can easily place the speakers at right place.... If u want to increase or decrease the sound from the front..... You know that u u have placed the fr and FL speakers at the front, so u just need to increase or decrease the fl and fr sound..... If u are not getting sound from all 5 speakers then it may be problem with the output..... U can call the Philips service center... They provide home service.... Or else u can contact the retail store to replace the product with another...... 18001022929
