Nice review! Very helpful! The main problem with this device in my own personal experience is that I have a hard time picking up the stations and there is often a background noise. I had one from Sony and replaced it with this one because the previous one had a time problem. Every time I made the time, after a while it would lose it and run ahead. But it was a perfect radio. It had great sound and zero problem to pick up the stations and never made that noise that the radio makes when the signal is not good. And I had never even unfold the antenna. This Philips clock radio was by no means cheap and I was not particularly satisy with this purchase.

Hi The volume of the alarm is really low, how can I had more volume in to the alarm?

no the batteries are just for keeping the time set without power

Without a battery, the screen does not appear, but it keeps the local time you set in its memory. You do not need to set it again.

Just press any button and it will stop
