Philips is excellent, it has a surprising cost-benefit and quality, JBL is wonderful but unfortunately it is very expensive. The video shows Philips with only 40W, when connected to the power, it has a total of 80W, it is excellent for ambient, it is even thunderous and loud!!! I have one and I can guarantee that it is a great speaker, compared to these other brands like: Amvox, Mondial and Pulse. These brands that I mentioned have a distorted sound and no power at all.

Jbl has an air outlet behind, which is facing the wall. It reflects the sound thus amplifying it. Philips has front facing air vent which is open hence it feels less powerful. Technically 8 inch subwoofer philips should have outperformed 6.5" jbl subwoofer. Though build quality matters. I might be wrong regarding the reason. I am just guessing. Need more comparison in different situations inorder to conclude.

I had the Phillips it's trash to be honest even with the bass adjusted right up it's not noticed for the size the sound is little my w king d10 is just as loud as the Phillips with deeper bass

Only 1 mic input in pb encore essential.best option is partybox 110 has both guitar and mic input.
