According to a number of studies, the Botulinum Toxin injection can indeed ease writer's cramps. However, we do not advise any self-imposed medical measures and injections without the approval of a medical professional. As this is a personal health matter, we suggest discussing it with your GP to see if it is suitable for you.

I believe that Botox is a more purified version of botulinum so it can’t fully harm you, just temporarily paralyse certain muscles. I also believe it depends where and how much of the toxin if injected into you.
