I have no clue about the rules of baseball but think I might start watching it this is some entertaining stuff right here, is this a regular occurrence in the game?

This happens about 5 times a season for an individual team, so if you include the other team about 10 times out of 162. But I would say definitely check out the next game you can after the season starts. Since it isn’t timed the game has more suspense and in game drama than any other sport.
