I had my ears pierced for my 7th birthday. I remember it well and it was totally my choice. wouldn't stop hassling my mum about them! I was pleased with them once they were done and no regrets at 36 years old!

Can’t people just accept other peoples parenting choices? My mum got my ears pierced for my first birthday, and I’ve never said “how could you do that to me?” It’s each to their own really, but it’s just earrings at the end of the day. Some people choose to get their child’s ears pierced, some don’t. Some people let their children have phones and other devices, some don’t. As an example I personally could never send my child to boarding school, but I know that some parents do for various reasons

Im a guy i had one of my ears pierced at 13. Never wear them anymore i forgot i even had it done . Never effected me

I would nt get my childs ear pierced when she was a baby or a toddler I d wait until she was at a age she could ask me if she could get her ear pierced I had my first done at 11 and my 2 nd 1 at 18

Growing up, i asked my parents if i could have my ears pierced. My father replied, if you were meant to have holes in your ears, you would have been born with holes in them. The answer was "NO" i had them pierced aged 21, biggest mistake of my life. Hate them. Never ever wear earrings
