For me, the best performance by anyone ever on AI. This was the song that changed him from being the guy who hadn't been eliminated yet to the the front-runner. "Home" sealed it. Jessica was very good, but she wasn't unique in any way. PP blazed a new trail. A well-deserved win.

watching this in 2023. i remember this season and them trying to style him up and change who he was. this song choice by him was basically him saying either you like me for me or i'm leaving. he wasn't going to change who he was just to stay on the show. i fell in love with him as an artist because of his authenticity. imagine telling ed sheeran he was hiding behind his guitar.
