This is the most wonderful love song you could ever sing to a person, especially someone with depression like me. It's asking for the good AND the bad from a person. It's asking for all of their hurt and their darkness and offering to take some of it on for them and with them. It's telling a person that you'll love them not only despite their flaws but because of those flaws, because their flaws make them who they are.

To me it's a very spiritual song. When I listen to it, it's as if God is speaking directly to me through this beautiful song. I’m with you on accepting flaws and loving them for it. It’s hard to get past a person’s physical flaws, but additionally, the emotional ones. A person has so much to offer when they are in a ‘perfect’ situation or have the ‘upper hand,’ but to see someone at their worst on their hardest days, and learn to love that piece of them as much as the perfect parts is beyond words, and that’s just love. I think to be able to build that love with a genuine connection is something most people can only dream of. I stumbled upon it many years ago. I would love to see it come to me in the way that I hope one day. Life is a wild ride, and all we can do is hope, pray, and put positive vibes out into the Universe. Good vibrations are all the rage these days. And, I think EVERYONE forgets to pass those on. But, I often notice that the ones with the most to give seem to give much less of them than those who have little for themselves. Where the student becomes the teacher I guess. Or the hurt becomes the healer. Some of us are so down-and-out all we can do try our best to be good vibes, even to those that have tried or do bring us down. Pass on some good vibes, pay it forward 💜💜♾

Honestly these songs are amazing. Every time I listen to Phillip, I feel like crying.. and I don't cry. It feels like his songs are really true, his music still has heart in it- he loves what he's playing. I hate hearing some singers out there who ust sell their voices and sing what makes money. They don't sound like they love every minute and Phillip does- it's what makes him so good. Honestly he is my favorite singer and I love his music.
