I remember Noel Edmunds being on that itv show and spoke about how he believed his positive mindset helped him beat cancer. Phillip Schofield basically began to mock him and accuse him of being offensive to cancer patients. Who cares how Noel believed he beat cancer the fact is he got past it and well done to him It seemed a disgusting way to speak to someone about there own illness which schofield knew nothing about

He basically came on that show as John Leslie's replacement and started to take over in next to no time, just like he had been on the show from the off and Fern was the newbie. I think he is a control freak he wanted to take over and change the shows content. Leslie's career was wrecked by false allegations, he should never have lost his job, and Schofield should not have been employed by ITV then we probably would not have heard anything more about the one time childrens T.V presenter. Basically ITV massively extended this horrible mans career and his ego in the process.

I’m so disappointed in him. I used to really like him. I thought the majority of the time he had strong personal conviction but was generally polite and respectful and when he interviews people he seems to care about the nuances of the issue. I thought his friendship with Holly was adorable and loved them together (though when I realised he was married even wondered if anything was going on between them) but have been amazed at their complete and utter disregard for his long term spouse despite them saying ‘oh we’ll still be a family’. I am so over people using ‘coming out’ as a get out jail free for cheating/grooming’ card.

Personally I've never understood why people felt comfortable with him being an advertising front for a company who make millions of pounds from ripping people off by buying their old cars for a pittance - a company that has been fined a huge amount of money for breaking privacy rules on spam texting and emailing. I needed to see how he was coming across on the television. He made me feel sick to my stomach, just seeing this horrible excuse of a man makes me feel that way, I switched channel within 10 minutes, just couldn't bear to watch him much longer, and his co presenter doesn't make me feel much better. I wish they would both just get the hell off our T.V screens. Give the job to a decent couple of presenters. Someone mentioned Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, I'd go with that.
