In my eyes Danny, your the example of a father. You met a woman with two kids who were very young and raised them as your own. You taught them your values, beliefs and gave them love with no strings attached. You are ashlynn and Braden's father period!!. My grama used to tell me any man can be a daddy, but it takes a real man to be a father. Danny this is why your loved so much by your family and by us fambammers. God bless you for giving them a sense of security.

Danny your one in a million kind of man. I cried half way through this. As a single mom of 3 that's been my biggest fear and the reason im still single. Omg I’m not crying, I’m not crying 😔😪😭🤧 love this story so much. Danny you are an amazing dad. And remember “a dad isn’t defined as the man who makes the child, but rather the man who raises and loves the child with all his heart through anything. Blood doesn’t always make a man a dad, being a dad comes from the heart.”

When I first started watching your family, I had no idea that the two older kids weren't Danny's biological children. You can tell Danny is the Dad, whether biological or not!

I am actually in Danny’s situation. I have a daughter that cane into my life when I met her dad in 2005. Her biological mom hasn’t been in her life much but I have been there since day one. She’s now 14. I haven’t went through with adoption yet but in my heart she is mine and always will be. This is one of the reasons I relate to the Phillips family so much along with many others. Great video and it takes a special kind of person to step up like that. Danny you’re a great father

As an adopted person who doesn't know either biological parents I'd def be interested on Braden's take on knowing both and being adopted. One of the many reasons I love this channel is that I can see and feel the love that Danny has for ALL of his children. What an amazing and loving man to inspire to be like. 👍👍 Great job Danny!

Just goes to show what kind of a guy Danny is, taking someone else's children on as his own and not treating them any differently, I love to watch his and Bashy's relationship, if it wasn't known that she would adopted by him, nobody would even know, I have so much respect for him, my biological father was an alcoholic and abusive, my mom got into a relationship with a guy 15 years younger than her, and he took me and my 2 siblings on as his own and has been the best father figure in my life for the last 13 years, you're such a gorgeous family and I love watching you guys, ( I'M A LIFERRR)

I love your story. My father adopted me at two and I love him with all my heart, to me he is my real dad. When he got cancer and couldn’t take care of himself I did it without a second thought. I told him with a smile “Daddy you change my diapers when I was little now I’m changing yours we both laughed, he’s gone from earth but not gone from my heart. Thank you for your story I followed my daddy around too
@alexiskirk22006 жыл бұрын
She is so lucky you understand to put her first. As someone who grew up without parents and raised by grandparents and relatives the theme was more about the respect for my bio parents than my need to be part of a consistent family. That last name thing was huge (I hated having the different last name and loved it when I got married) and I always prayed I’d be adopted. Everyone needs to feel a part of something and that someone has their back no matter what. You changed the trajectory for Ashlynn, Danny. Just amazing!

This video was so touching. My daughter and son-in-law each had a child when they came together. My daughter had a son who was 4 and had just been diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic about 9 months earlier. My son-in-law had a daughter that was fixing to turn 5. The children are 7 months apart. Her mother died of a drug overdose and her father got custody of her. They came into our family and he took over care for my daughter and grandson. He learned how to check my grandsons sugars and to give the correct dose of insulin as needed. His family was like Danny’s family as they always treated my grandson as their biological grandchild. They have not done the adoption process yet as they are trying to save up the money but they both want to adopt the others child. God bless y’all. Love you.

My mom met my Dad when I was 12-13 y/o and in the beginning, I resented him. I'd had mom all to myself for so long, it was hard to learn how to share her! My bio-dad was in and out of my life but never really involved with my life (if that makes any sense)! Flash forward 40 years and I just recently "officiated" my parent's vow renewal on their 40th anniversary! Although I don't have his last name, we have each other's hearts and he couldn't be any more my dad! This video brought me to tears, just seeing the love Danny and Ash have for one another. I used to think my mom got one of the only men of my Dad's caliber (who would take on a single mom and child/children and love them as his own without hesitation and with his whole heart!) but it's obvious that Tina was lucky enough to find another one!!! God bless you all! Sending the whole family much love from Central Texas! ❤❤❤

This blow's my mind that I am even asked this. I have never thought of any of them differently. They are all my niece's and nephew's! It was hard at first for the one's adopted from China..in Chinese, nanny and aunt are the same word. They were taken care of by nanny's at there orphanage, so they all thought I was mama at first!!
