I was teary eyed when the kids were being dropped off. I can only imagine what you guys must feel, my kids are only 2 yrs old and 3 months old and already I get so emotional when they hit milestones. Your kids are beautiful and I cant believe a whole year has gone by already, it seems like yesterday when ethan,elij and ems were all walking together on their first day. So glad they all enjoyed their first day back! My kids don't go back until after Labor Day & I'm already dreading it. I think I may be the only parent who still cry cries on the 1st day of school. They will be in 11th & 12th grade this year... 😢

I remember when it was my first day of 6th grade I said that I wasn't going to cry and when I got there I started tear up but know I just get nervous but it's ok you'll get use to it it's ok if you cry for your first day of school it's bc it's your first day who doesn't feel nervous on the first day of school I know I do but I get use to it .Love you .

So crazy how different Vegas schools are compared to here in Dallas. Well Kennedale lol we have 5 schools total 😭 2 elementary schools, one middle school (5&6), 1 junior high (7&8) and one high school! My brothers go back Monday thank god im tired and want my Monday’s back by myself LOL.

Middle school can be a huge change. I don't know how it is in Vegas but here in NYS it's the first school where the kids have to switch classrooms for each subject. It's a different age group. It's where kids tend to form cliques and can be mean. Ethan is soo lucky to have his big sister there to help him transition to middle school.

I cried watching this video!! I was thinking it was just a couple years ago Em was starting kinder!!😩 Her and my Ellanoa are in the same grade!! And Elijah and Charleigh are in the same grade. Kaedyn is between the 2 in 5th! It’s just crazy how time has flown by!! I’m always anxious for them to come home on their first day. I want to hear every little detail! Oh and I love the notes you wrote them!! I do that too! I feel like it lets them know I’m thinking of them and gives them so encouraging words if they are nervous!!

You know what I just noticed is that this year Ashlynn is and 8th grade senior and Ethan is a 6th grade freshmen in middle school. But in the future Elijah is going to be a 6th grade freshmen in middle school and Ethan will be a 8th grade senior in middle school in the future. Vise Versa for the teens going to middle school.
