I applaud you for taking a stand, the people who write comments like that are nothing but cowardly keyboard warriors whom I seriously doubt would have even bothered to offer the original seller an extra $5 let alone a $100 or more. OK I have taken a deep breath and calmed down. When listening to this my first reaction was to take a minute and feel sorry for those sad, pathetic jerks and their need to say those things about you - a minute! Then I could feel the anger rising - all my mom buttons were being pushed and I wanted to hunt those arseholes down in their parent's basements and 'discuss' their life choices. It is horrible enough to jump on you for what you pay (sellers do not have to negotiate!) but to question your religion !! They not only crossed the line, they threw the line out! How dare anyone feel they can hide behind their little screens and say things like that. Although we have not met in person, I believe I know enough about you thru your words and actions to feel comfortable in saying you are truly a good man. Kind, thoughtful and very respectful. You show these attributes in every picking video and they feel very natural and genuine, not put on for the camera. Wen growing up, my grandmother used to tell all of us girls to look at how a man treats his mother and animals. This will show his true nature. I am so sorry you have to deal with those people, I guess it comes with 'fame'. But if they do start to get to you, think about all of us who think you are GREAT!!!

Wow, some people can be so rude. You are taking us with on your adventures and that lady go what she wanted for the books, you didn't know and that really doesn't matter if you did, she got a price for them that she accepted. Everyone was happy. I'm a reseller and if I give someone a great deal on something... good for them and that's the way it goes sometimes. I had some happy tappers in my yard sale for 75 cents and after the sale was over I was like... these are kinda cool... I'm going to check them out.. and OOPS... that would of been on me if they sold for that price.. I had 4 of them :) Keep doing what you do, don't be discouraged!

Nostalgia. My boys had the little people and the weebles wobble sets when they first came out. They were wooden back then. When they got a few years older, they gave them to their kindergarten teacher. This video brought me good memories. Thank you.

Would've probably done $50 but she could've held firm. IDK what most people say they would do because until you're in that position don't judge $100 is $100 if you feel.good about that amount then fine. I may have given more but not 100% sure because never been in that situation. Closest thing I can compare to is buying a couch from an older couple in my neighborhood for man cave and finding $2500 hidden and gave it back to them. Hopefully karma comes back 10×

The thing that sucks about the internet is that people say things online that (1) they would NEVER say in person and (2) they would NEVER do themselves. Good for you blocking that BS. You didn't have to go back and give her anything, and no one has the right to judge on what you did give her. You paid the price she asked without knowing if the items were worth $2 or $200, and I think it's great that you found items that were worth so much. Being a reseller and putting yourself out there in these videos is NOT easy and no one has the right to degrade you for what you do or don't do. Keep doing what you do and block the haters. 🙂

I am dipping my toe into toys as well. Today, I went to a yard sale that was run by two little girls. Everything was kid stuff. I bought a big box of Lego kits for $20, just one Star Wars Lego kit sells for $35. Even if the kits aren’t complete, I can make lots or sell partials. I knew Lego was good, but I did not know how good until I got home. I was shocked it was still there at 4pm. Gonna be counting up little bits of Lego tomorrow. The trolls don’t realize just how hard reselling is, all the work and research that goes into what we do. Any of those folks that we buy from could have chosen to do that work themselves, but they didnt. Reselling is as hard as going to grad school. It’s not like money falls from the sky, and we have to be constantly learning and adjusting our business plans all the time. Absolutely, block those disrespectful trolls. They don’t deserve to have their hate seen by anyone else.

Yeah, personally I wouldn't have gone back and given her extra money. It's a transaction where both parties agreed on a set price. It's not like people go back a year later after buying a house and give the original owner more money because the price appreciated significantly. Some people are so simple minded. When you bought those books one of the people selling said they was money in the box. They probably didn't realise how much but they had already decided they didn't care. No one needs negativity like that in their life. It still blows my mind that such rude people exist in the world. Why not use that energy to do something productive and encouraging? It was good of you to go back and pay more--but that was YOUR choice. She asked a price, you not only gave her the agreed-upon price but gave her more after. You didn't need to do that, but it was good. We are working, doing what we can to make a living. It isn't always easy.
