Thank you! I'm taking my critical thinking course currently and we're going over extended arguments right now. It's a bit difficult because my course is fast paced and you definitely made it more clearer than my professor! :)

I took logic last semester and did very well in it, unfortunately we didn't cover diagramming arguments, which is something covered on my mid-term test for Critical Thinking. The professor was very obscure in his explanation, and the textbook was not any better. I just wanted to say thank you for clearing this up for me, and even though there are some differences in how we're supposed to diagram arguments (Using squares for premises, and a circle for the conclusion) this video was immensely helpful; you definitely deserve way more views, thank you!

17:30 how come 3 in here is its own premise when it is not even a complete proposition (which should have a subject term and a predict term)?? Number 3 is a subject term without its predict, so it can't be a premise in its own, however 4,5, and 6 could work...its just that this topic confuses me a lot.
