"It's your own body, it's your own lesson" As I get older and now more limited in my practice I have discovered new gifts in steadiness of some "simpler" poses. Thanks for this video!❤

This is now part of my morning routine… I will stay on the beginner primary practice not only until my body is stronger and more fluid but the personal internal revelations and healing for me these msgs right now are invaluable messages - I am coming back home to my self after an extended absence, feeling like like modality gives me the tools to unite my heart and my head…and I will follow up with listening to Laruga and her explanation of the philosophy- thank you so much for democratizing this practice and making this lecture series from an incredibly gifted yogi to available to the world 🙏🏽 When the student is ready- the teacher appears - thank you so much namaste

Thank you for sharing such a valuable teaching with all of us Laruga. I practice the primary series with you on a KZbin video every morning, and you have become an inspiration. It hasn’t been long since I am practicing every day, but I already feel my heart opening so much that I can’t stop feeling love and gratitude for everything. Peace and lots of love to all of you reading this❤ Namaste 🙏

32:29 the woman wasn’t able and the reality of her internal situation has her in a state of avoidance and possibly shame… yoga is very confrontational for someone like me who has lived outside of my body due to trauma… that is my internal dialogue that I need to face down and sitting in my mat and breathing gets me stronger in the mind to face what has been neglected in my body…

Love this vid! However, there is an ostensible paradox in this philosophy that I have grappled with for a while regarding moving beyond pain/pleasure, "neutrality", or detachment. This teacher calls it "the sweetest taste possible". Doesn't that imply something pleasurable, some superior Good? And how can we not judge our stiff, uncapable, painfilled bodies while at the same time "keeping the long-term in mind" i.e. hoping for and expecting benevolent progress in our practice? Why do we seek peace, stillness, and non-judgment if all feelings and experiences just 'are', just exist as things/beings etc.; if good and bad doesn't really exist? Then surely agitation or depression wouldn't be a less desirable (elevated) state of being than Buddha keeping still in the eye of the storm? Hope someone has thoughts on this as I would love to understand!

Perhaps when in the eye of the storm, the Buddha turned his awareness to impermanence?

Hi! I was wondering what you mean by "benevolent progress in our practice". When you say progress, how is that measured and when you say practice do you mean specifically asana practice? I appreciate your thoughts, there is sooo much to think about! Thank you!

How can I heal my root chakra?
@ntskl2 ай бұрын
To heal the root you must use the root. Take a fresh root vegetable such as a thick carrot or a daikon radish, cover it in virgin coconut oil and push it into your yoni far enough for it to press up against the root chakra. Relax your pelvic floor muscles and slowly slide it out on exhale and then back in on inhale. Repeat for 20 breaths every morning.

What if you live with parents who dont believe in yoga and asana but believe in medications and alcohol and cigarettes.? , i don't vibe with their energy. Also can their energy linger on me or my clothes?
@ntskl2 ай бұрын
It can, their energy will absorb into fabrics, especially cotton and wool. Make sure to do laundry frequently and cover your mat with a thin layer of virgin coconut oil to make it non-stick to their energetic output.
