Happiness is undoubtedly the most desirable state of being we all strive to achieve. Thus, every human being is continuously engaged in one experiment after the other in their own ways to experience new ways to attain fulfilling happiness and increase its intensity for a longer-lasting effect. Therefore, one of life’s most rewarding endeavours has to be to spend time discovering, exploring and studying what the Buddha - the foremost authority on the mind, expounded on this topic. Hi teacher, I’ve listened to most of your teachings on Spotify and they are transcending. I can’t express the benefit they are to me and the peace they’ve brought me. Thank the Buddha for this truth and thank you for sharing it with us. I stopped at the ‘Second Noble Truth’ speaking about wanting/attachment of the mind…and I’ve been listening to find an answer for myself. Since now I know how the mind works I want to know how to properly use it to create a business but how I do it properly so I don’t suffer? I read philosophies about individual achievements and they talk about tricking the mind and wanting, wanting, wanting, obsession about what you want but it made me suffer. Even though it might work to get me what I want but I don’t want to get it that way because I want to be happy. I want to know if there’s a teaching that talks about how to use the mind to be successful to take care of your family, without bringing so much suffering upon myself or losing focus of growing my heart…while focusing on wants.
