I have just discovered Phil. What a great channel. You don't need to be selling Rolex's etc to have fun selling watches and make some money too. In the past decade I've sold around 100 x1963 Seagulls. You know, the Re-issue with the manual wind ST19 cal movement, typically goes for around $AUD300. I have had so much fun buying and selling these and the profits have allowed me to invest more in to my own watch collection which is mostly Omega.

Is the GBP 1 million profit you mention actual realised (i.e. cash in hand) profit or "virtual"/theoretical profit based on Chrono24 prices? If he's invested 1.5 million already, how much of that has he recouped or is all that cash still strapped in watches? It's very easy to make big statements like these but you need to look closer to understand what is actually happening. Unless he sells all his watches at the highest market prices, I suspect the profits are still just imaginary.

So the the way to get it is to show the AD that you are not flipping it you are telling me that the AD that give this friend 2 a month don’t know? They offer him the same watch over and over for sure, why would he need the same more than once. Clearly he is giving the AD staff a cut of the profit he makes otherwise what is the justification for an AD to sell the same model to the same person. A collector had 1 or maybe 2 tops of the same model - scam all around

Running around like a blue ar@ed fly, carrying Rolex watches in a backpack (I know you said you don't do that but Uber from London to Manchester is pretty hefty). No physical store, questionable authentication, probably very little comeback should there be an issue - the list goes on. I'd need to be desperate to buy from you, and for a watch that's never going to happen. Good luck anyway, you may well become very successful and legitimate - but for me all I see is a chancer trying to make a quick buck - but I guess we all have to start somewhere. And that's not to mention if the bottom falls out of the market and you're left with a dozen or more Rolex you've bought grey and can't shift - that's when all your profits go pooooooof!
