The men start off recapping Al's wasp attack in the previous episode's 'Overtime' segment for Zach. Phil says he's never seen Al move that fast. Jase came to his big brother's defense to kill the wasp after he'd stung Al. Zach is in awe of Phil being able to pivot and keep preaching about the sting of sin in the midst of it all. Phil recounts Si's worst bumblee attack when he was a boy. Plus, continuing in the study of Mark, why the Gospel is a message of urgency. We're the salt of the earth - be salty!

I am an old school musician and we used to have a practice house, an old tenement shack, out in the country on our keyboard player's Daddy's farm. I was always first there to cut on the air conditioner and lights with the power box. Almost every day, in the summer, I would get stung by red wasps. I suppose I wasn't that allergic to those stings. I would chew up a cigarette and get that tobacco into a sort of poultice to take the poison out. It works guys and God Bless y'all always!!!

That happened to me some years ago, don't know how many years it's been, walked outside, and these winged buggy fellas like to make their homes up in top of windows, one of em was flying like 60 mph with 100% accuracy spun his rump around and got a direct hit on the back of my neck, and it felt like FIRE. I live on the second story, and my balcony is very narrow, and I'm so glad the shock didn't send me over the rails. But it sure hurt something fierce. Funny thing, Mike Tyson may be the heavy weight champion of the world, only because bears aren't allowed in the ring, but concerning bears, how much endurance, and strength they have can rip and maul us to pieces with very little effort, but the one thing they can't defeat is the one thing they can't touch.... THE FLEA! It is the little things of God that bring shame to the mighty things of this world.

Being stung by a wasp is equivalent to probably being in front of a blow torch. One got in my loose shirt right on the thin skin of my arm by armpit. It stung me twice before I could get it out. Prayer, alcohol, and Seabreeze finally stopped the stinging. I’ll never forget it. Horrible.

You don't have to be fast, just NOT the slowest...lol. Glad you are okay Al. The story, in spite of the pain you were caused, was indeed funny as hell listening to the opinions of all regarding the calamity. We love ya Al! This brings to mind...my wife found a 5-foot Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake in my yard not too long ago right next to our patio. This sum biatch was thick as hell with a massive head. I went to retrieve my attitude adjustment device as it sauntered off. Later on, a friend said: 'you don't have to kill it, there's probably 10,000 more of them in the 70,000 acres of woods you got behind your house, it's just doing its thing trying to survive. I said that may be, I'm trying to survive as well. I bite him he gets an infection, he bites me I may die. I'm at the top of the food chain baby and I plan on staying there. THIS one won't ever bite me or my wife, or my dog. To the other 9,999...Next!

I have heard and agree with each one of y'all's perspective on God's connotation of "salt". I see another perspective I'd like to bring to y'all's table. It's similar to the direction Jase was goin with it; salt being a seasoning. I see it in the summation of,"What we do in our actions directly flavors the words we speak concerning the Gospel of Jesus Christ". If our actions are full of selfish ambition, catering to the flesh/carnality, then what comes out of our mouth is not only in poor taste, but downright polluted; foul waters that no one wants a sip of. But if our actions are out of obedience through faith in Jesus Christ, then they'll be actions of love, unselfishness, and godly compassion, and as a result, our words will be much more palatable to the listener. Kind regards, Riff

17:43 This whole podcast, I was thinking about all of the times I got stung by wasps as a little kid, and thinking about how my dad would put his dip on it. Like the first time I got stung, it was on the neck. Dad spit on it, and then took the dip out of his mouth and put it on there. I thought it was gross, but saw it as a normal practice. Fast forward to me being a young adult who dips. My mom came to me wanting me to give her some for her wasp sting. At first I thought it was odd that she was taking a pinch from the can and putting it on there, but then I thought it's probably way more odd that dad spit on me and used the one he had in his mouth.. I thought, "Why didn't he just use some from his can?" Lol But Al says the spit probably would've been better.. At least I'm not the only one who's had some sort of experience like that.

1 Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? Eph 5:21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 1 Cor 7:10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. _____ But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? Thus, we should see marriage with unbelievers as forbidden, but divorce of unbelievers as also a poor option, unless the unbeliever insists on leaving (whatever we make of 1 Cor 7)

I am saddened that you've promoted Dallas Jenkins and The Chosen. It is a terrible message, which was gathered from Mormon and Catholic beliefs. The storyline and the characters did not represent the real Jesus or any others in scripture. Your family has been a blessing and your love for Jesus, family and others is amazing, but it is disturbing for any believer to promote The Chosen or any project of Vid Angel.
