@Ratt 64 There are lots of hall of famers whose prices peak during their careers, then cool off and level out or even drop. See Pujols, who is a definite hall of famer and had as good of a career as Trout by this point. He fell off after and people who bought in at the peak will never make that money back. Even HOFers who continue to play well usually level off at best. See ichiro, Miguel Cabrera, Adrian Beltre for recent examples. And let's not forget we're only discussing one player who has had an outlier of a great career, not all the others who will likely just depreciate from here.

I use a comic toploader for my ohtani oversized transcendent card. It's a little taller, but overall works well. I put the card itself in a comic bag without board, then put it in the toploader.

I was on eBay earlier and I saw a Vladimir Guerrero Jr book card in a big case by Beckett that can hold those letter cards it was bigger then a 8×10 case

Hey Phil, you can send those oversized cards to PSA DNA they will authenticate them for you. But more importantly they'll encase them for you. They have cases bigger than those cards.

Hey Phil, I know you prefer PSA but if you have a Pristine 10 from BGS, I would keep it in that slab. Those are way more rare than a PSA 10. In fact, you were .5 away on centering from getting the coveted BGS black label, which is ultra rare.

@@philspulls I hear ya. Personally I like using Beckett for the newer stuff and PSA more for my vintage. I may be losing some buyers by not being uniform and having everything PSA but I do like the Beckett subgrades.

Where do you purchase Hobby Boxes from? Local or online? I don't have a local hobby store within two hours of me. I have shopped online and even saved to buy a case of Panini Contenders last year. However it was a bust as there was only one mid-grade hit. I have a huge distrust of online hobby stores after that experience. Love the channel.

Hey Phil, 1 thing I would recommend is putting penny sleeves inside of the magnet holders on top of the cards so they the autographs don’t smear on the plastic and or the cards don’t get sctrqtched or damaged by the cases either
