Best walk-up was when Michael Morse would come up to bat with the Nationals. It was 'Take On Me" by a-ha, and even when the music cut out, the entire stadium would continue to sing the really high pitched part of the hook. Still played during the seventh inning stretch at Nat's Park.

You can take an eraser, or baby powder to the chrome cards before signing them. It makes the autos not bubble.

If you use a soft (typically white) eraser, it usually takes the extra shine off of those cards enough that sharpie sticks better.

If you have a glasses case that has a cloth cleaner for your glasses/sunglasses, use that on the card you wish to sign by alternating between clockwise and counter-clockwise across its surface, it won’t damage the card and it’ll allow you to sign the card without the signature bubbling up. I do this when I get NRL (rugby league) players to sign cards for me and it hasn’t let me down yet.

I always take a bit of baby powder and rub it over the card to prevent bubbling. Find that it works better and is easier than an eraser

Phil if you want to sign a chrome card, put some baby powder on it and slowly sift it back off or lightly rub an eraser over the spot you want to sign

For chrome cards, take a Staedler white eraser and eraser the surface, then wipe it off. Autos will stick to that then. There are also some pens that won't bubble, but I can't remember the brand right now.

Use a white eraser to rub the surface down or rub a little baby powder on the surface of the card to clean the surface up. I use an eraser myself. Easier to use and doesn't take up much room in my graphing bag

hey Phil! I'm not sure if anyone commented this yet but you mentioned that the chrome card would bubble if you autographed it. to solve the bubbling issue, just take a pencil eraser and erase the surface of the card. or you could rub baby powder on the surface instead. both tricks are used to get that perfect autograph on chrome cards!

Hey Phil! If you take baby powder and put it on the chrome card, let it sit for just a minute, and wipe it clean. Then, you can sign it and it wont bubble up on you. I use chrome cards for UFC ttms and it works great. Just be sure to let the sharpie dry. Also, you can do the same with an eraser. Run over the card with it and sign it just like the other. Hope that helps man. Try it in a video and see if it works for you. That would be a good one. Cheers!
