People now will ship Mousey and Badboyhalo a lot. With you-know-who gone, badboy is complety free. And i thank god for that ship, because even if LGBT+ ships are cool and etc, it became boring when every single marriage that was formed on a island followed this pattern. The only one couple iirc that is not LGBT on this island is German and Lenay, but this was formed pre-QSMP and on 2023 they barely logged. I'm not anti-LGBT or some simmilar s*** that people might associate me because bad-intention people are everywhere, to found anything to cancel you, but at least one shipping imo should've breked the LGBT pattern.

I’m confused. What “pattern” are you talking about? They’re all gay? All the couples got together in different ways. GuapoDuo flirted then jumped straight to a proposal (from my understanding); HideDuo had the “Will they, won’t they?”; TeaDuo seems to be Love at First Sight; MisclickDuo was partnered for the egg event; Foolgetta was also partnered, but they were good friends before hand; and Frubbo was Friends to Boyfriends, with enough misunderstandings to make a soap opera. Not to mention, they all have different dynamics. GuapoDuo went from flirting to Honeymoon Phase to Tragic Couple; HideDuo is simultaneously shy about dating and making sex jokes; TeaDuo is all about sweetness and Puppy Love; MisclickDuo is…confusing at best and abusive at worst; Foolgetta is Sugar Daddy and Trophy Husband (am I wrong?); and Frubbo is sort of Opposites Attracts I must ask: would you say the same thing if all the couples were straight?

That's never going to happen. Fans don't accept het ships unless the people are actually together. (Like Lenay and German). A big part of it is misogyny and nothing is just fetishization. Also it's not really about true LGBT rep, it's just a way to have romance in the story in a way that won't cross over into real life because none of the creators in those relationships are LGBT. Notice how the actual out LGBT creator is shipped with an admin/npc and not someone he can be shipped with irl.
