The best one ever, all time favorite. Rasogulla is originated from Puri, Odisha. There is a ritual event associated with Lord Jagannath after returning from Ratha Yatra. Lord Jagannath offer Rasogulla to Mahalaxmi to please her so that the deity can enter inside Jagannath Temple. This ritual is performed each and every year since 1100 AD. -Correct me if I'm wrong.

@@madhumitadasgupta9099 According to the Odia rhetoric, the rosogolla was invented in Odisha as far back as the 12th century when dumplings made out of cottage cheese or ‘chenna’ were served as offering in the Lord Jagannath temple in Puri. It is our tradition and ritual ethics that proclaims the originality since 12th century which is still counting. It doesn't matter who invented or who documented the rights for the GI tag but all will be nailed down when in the court of our allmight. I bet that you will never find a better to rejuvenate the sense of happiness at our place with our varieties and versions.

Tried.. turned out superb.. As I cud not get reetha.. I made without it's use.. The clear n simplified way of explaining it inspired me to make it after mayb 18 years or so n home people really enjoyed it.. May ganpati bappa bless you more n more..
