My first and only Hampton show! My wife was kind enough to take me to the lot with our 2 month old son. She went back to our hotel room with him while I got my face melted watching this Carini. She picked me up outside the Mothership in a sea of cars while the baby slept. We had flown there from Georgia to mark off a bucket list item for me. I love you sweetheart.

ever since i moved to europe 10 years ago, the ONE thing i've missed the most is going to phish shows. the utter magic of watching pure creativity just ---stream--- out of these four joyous dudes is fantastic. hard to find such an experience anywhere else on earth. i just hope i have a chance to see them just once before they decide to call it quits!

I can understand that . . I tend to do that alot as well. But I still remember my first 3 phish shows (MSG 1997 - what a run to start seeing Phish). And I can say some of my best memories were hearing the composed parts of the songs, since some of them were new to me. Lots of people new to Phish can fall in love with them beacuse of the composed parts. It takes time to develop an appreciation of jams I think, unless your high, which is just not the same.

The way take a while to warm up and don't really produce the gold till the end (or atleast 2nd half) of tour really makes you realize how special this was to just effortlessly unfold on the FIRST night of tour.
