I was at the Phish concert in 1999 at a Indian reservation in Florida and I was a starting musician and John Fish man inspired me to continue along with other legends and not to mention the whole groug trey, etc please accuse if I did mention producer etc....Loved it and was one of the best times of my my life and am now cont music myself...

As I have always said liking Phish has a very high barrier for entry due to their long jams and varying styles. But if you are lucky enough to get it, they pay off more than any other band around. I am hopefully reserving my spot to see them in Mexico in 2 days. It's expensive, but well worth it .

Personally I don't get through life well with sobriety. Most artist can't be creative without outside stimulation. Sobriety has worked miracles for these guys in amazing ways. Yes the drug induced early years will always be great to revisit but listen to a newer version of the same song and time length and you might just be shocked how much the music got cloned and made even more beautiful art that you thought could be possible.
