I was getting a bit tired between sets because I had been up for nearly 20 hours at this point. Let me tell you something, when they got into this Pillow Jets jam after that Tweezer, it woke me the HECK up more than caffiene ever did. I was soaring. I will never forget that visceral, physiological response. See you all at Mondegreen!

Not sure how many times I saw them in 1994 Florida to Glens Falls New York ending with the Beatles White album on Halloween ……. yet every time was a good new experience and direction always Hitting the notes and singing the songs ,looking us fans right in the eye and having a good time….. thanks guys

1994 is THE year.Totally unstoppable.We walked out of every show,saying that was better then last night.They just got better n better everyday. Too quote Brad Sands,94’ was the year they came into their own.I agree.Wish i got too see them this tour.Too much personal life hits. Have fun for me @ mondegreen.Cheers!!

Great playing great grooves, I can relate playing grooves like this these days with the old cats teaching us the way… thankfully there’s a new school of steve jordan style groove Drummers that have chops but ya gotta wait for them to come out at the right time oozing with feel at all times. Thanks

i was too, based solely on the title, and cuz I hadn't heard the album version or a live version. then at Monde it was kinda what I'd hoped it would be like...they really seemed to make their sound come from the stage in 4 horizontal columns (not that each column was a different instrument) somehow comprised of my favorite pillow that was comprised of 4 distinct chunks of Phish music flying earward and beyond, and moving like a jet that's getting slung off an aircraft carrier. So yeh I did love my first hearing. It seemed to a non-musician like me that they were playing in the most cutting-edge way they can these days.

that's when I really began to ride the curve of the Earth. During my 1st hearing of Pillow Jets in Dover- what a powerful change there! And those notes led an anthem of vanguarding!! But there were many moments in Delaware that made me aware of new Phish sounds getting blended with the past to keep me so cold in the hose i had to do (there is no try) my HIGHEST LEVEL OF EDUCATION YOU GIVE A SHIT ABOUT try in order to warm not my body but my future, so, in, ya know, the afternoon of my May birthday during 2052, the perpetual embrace that in this age named Phish, the Mondegreen Jets will continue to make exponential moments of golden. I'll hopefully indeed see... I'm so grateful their moments have never ended for me. And taboot, I think somehow, at age 46, I did my lifes best dancing at Mondegreen. Aided by the room to move a huge GA show provides, having the earth under our feet instead of concrete, and especially the floor surface of the Heliograph! If they'd played It's Ice and I was up there THEN, well everyone would know. Up there after Fuego we found ourselves gliding as rowdy cows controlled by sublimated strolls with space to wrangle our souls with fun and our moves with grooves that returned us (me) around the floor up there with efforts of funk I'd never attained! Like when I beat Zelda 2 on Nintendo after 6 months of my 10th year here. SAME THING~

Vaguely. I heard exactly what you are talking about. It was a 9 note segment that had purpose. Goes on for about 40 seconds. I would definitely agree that it's reminiscent of a portion of "Slipknot", but not similar enough to even be considered a "Slipknot tease". You ain't wrong though 👊
