I was stationed in Phitsanulok at a radar site in 1969 and went back in 2019. Have seen the temple and gone swimming in the nearby mountain streams but missed this. Also saw nearby Sukothai. Very good video and hope one day to see this.

Hello Paddy from Florida, U.S.A. Thank you for taking us on this fantastic road trip with you. My husband and I really enjoy and appreciate your vlogs. I haven't seen all episodes yet, but I will go back and watch them all. You're amazing and real. You enjoy what you do. You introduce us to beautiful and interesting places that I don't know they exsist. The quality of your videos and music choice are excellent. We will visit some of the places from your videos next time we visit my family in Thailand. The accommodation on this episode has an amazing backdrop, too bad you were unable to clime up the limestone tops. Stay safe and best of luck. THANK YOU!

I agree that your films could be on National Geographic. 100% better than anything on offer on normal tv. That crazy accommodation was amazing. Ken Abroad went to that blue water cafe in one of his recent films (you had already been to with us). Cath and Kevs x
Hi Paddy I am an Australian Expat and have lived in Phitsanulok for 8 months now. Covid restrictions a few months confined us to this province but it forced us to visit many of the hidden gems. We actually visited the quirky resort twice staying in one of the bigger cabins. Saw the bats come out at 6pm. Whist the resort is comparatively a bit pricy the location was superb. I just loved it when having a quiet beer from the cabin in the evening looking over the rice fields with the craggy mountains as the backdrop. Priceless.😎

One word best describes this Province - Magical! Another great video Paddy. I remember seeing a swarm of bats in Hervey Bay at dusk in Queensland 5 years ago. The sky turned to night in an instant. I was mesmerised watching the bats fly towards beautiful Fraser Island. I'll never forget it. Thanks Paddy, I look forward to your 'Next Level Adventure'. Cheers, Stef

Best way which is most affordable, scenic and fast is the train 7 leaving from Bangkok (I know the person reading this if you’re in Thailand you’re in Bangkok, I’m a mind reader), it’s an a/c special express train that leaves Krung Thep Aphiwat at 9:05am, arriving at phitsanulok at 13:12pm taking only 4 hours and 7 minutes. 382km, perfect timing because you don’t need to wake up at 3 in the morning NOR arrive at your hotel near midnight. Of course maybe keep some warm food or snacks for lunch as you know the food on Thai trains.

Nicely done! fyi, I owed a Honda PCX 150 for years and loved it. I am 200 lbs yet it never stalled or slowed going up many steep climbs in the mountains of northern Thailand. The extra 25 cc makes a big difference and the seating was more comfortable for a falang bottom. The Forza is a lot of bike but if that is what you are after then go for it. Too much power and temptation for me.

Great video. You have a skill for cinematography. Two thoughts entered my head watching this: 1. I thought of the movie 127 Hours when you entered the cave and I'm glad you didn't go further while alone; and 2. When you said you caught footage of the bats with your drone I shuddered a little at the thought of one the bats possibly taking down Dronie.
