I’ve often wondered if a turtle (a carbonemys) would be a good “starter” aquatic mount. I’ve tinkered with them before; they are good enough tanks that some use them as bait for squid taming.

In ASE, you could use bug repellent to keep the mantas calm while taming. Have they disabled that mechanism in ASA?
