When putting piping under the ground, you can use the third person camera mode to see underground and actually see how the piping all connects to be sure you get it the way you want.

I just use the "ghost" command to fly underground but that works too lol. Also to keep my base tidy I pre place electrical outlets and water pipes where necessary and bury the whole system out of sight.

Thylas are so strong- with the bleed, they even handle rock elementals pretty easy. They are a great tame for SE.

Something I like to do when working with long water lines to keep them from looking bad I use the "ghost" and "fly" command and bury the lines underground and under my foundations. That's the way it would be done in real life and I don't feel cheaty because I've used the proper materials

Hey Phlinger, it would be great if you explained why you don’t want to use flexible pipes between the well and base. I’m really curious what kind of issues that would cause. Thanks for the video!

I do pipes/wiring a little different. I place a straight pipe connected to the well, or wire to a generator, and then place a foundation near by in the general direction I want the pipe to go. Then I use the foundation to aim where I want the pipe to go and then connect it to the well with a flexible pipe. This way you can have your pipes/wires go directly to where you want them to go and you only need to worry about the height.

I put a wind turbine and a chemistry bench on my strider for Adobe farming. You can also put a generator on a strider.

Use K Mode like you would to find deathworms and as long is there's no foundations you can peek underground to keep track of the piping.

Yeah, I usually bury pipe and wire. K mode is a big help. I also use vertical pieces to snap to the pipes as I am building and then pick them up when the route is finished.
