I've been dying my hair a nice burgundy red for few years and now I'm going to switch things up a little and do a half dark pink/blue-violet because I wear my hair in a french braid all the time and it would look so cool. This video definitely helped me narrow down the possible dyes I could use. Also, have you thought of doing a mega compilation of all of your close up hair swatches or doing a series where you comp certain colors (like a red video, an orange video, etc.) Because you have some comparison swatches that I haven't seen videos for and I'd love to see close ups of all of the swatches! You can probably just reuse a lot of footage if you still have it.

I have Asian hair and I know I'll have brassiness after stripping some of the colour (I do not want to bleach too many times), so I'm trying to find a way to determine the outcome of the colour before I decide what dye I buy. Trying to get the best green-blue-purple ombre sort of fade. Found your channel by accident, you definitely deserve more views. Any recommendation for a teal to blue to purple ombre? Starting with fairly brassy hair (I presume I will get around a level 5-6). Mainly wondering how to get the purple show.

when you say “part” how much is that exactly? if i was going to dye a strip of my hair as thick as one of those extensions.

It just refers to which ever measurement you decide to use. So if you were using tablespoons as your measurement, it would be 1 tablespoon of one dye and 4 tablespoons of the other dye. Hope that helps!!
