The 7 with SNEB's has been my fav for the last couple of months. Pair it with the Amx-13 or the AMX-13-90 and AMX-30 (1972) combo. I get tons of kills and usually end up on top. Those SNEB's are lethal !

If Gaijin added the F/A-18C to the game, the USA would only get Hydra Rockets, AIM-9's, Bombs, and Zuni Rockets. The British F/A-18C under a Canadian or Australian Flag would get AGM-88's, AGM-65's, and AGM-84's.... because "BALANCE". This is why I fly in DCS, a real simulator.

The F4U-7 was the last production model of the Corsair and was produced solely for the French navy.

Because American do not use F4U-7. It's the final variant of the Corsair, build in 1952 specifically to Aéronavale requirement for strong low-alitiude CAS aircraft and use exclusively by Aéronavale. American did not use it because they already have better plane for the job.

F4U-7 is the french only version of the AU-1, which got some extra armor plating and french rockets. (AU-1, doesnt get french rockets) The last Corsairs that would be interessting for the USA would be the F4U-5, AU-1 and F2G Super Corsair. The F4U-4B ingame is a bit lighter and got better performance, the F4U-7 is more a CAS focused version. Also all in one War Thunder is just a game, not a full realistic simulator like DCS, that focuses primarily on that... WT might have a sim mode but compared it is more simple, DCS is a bit different story...

I sat in an F4U back in the 90s at the New England Air Museum in Connecticut when they had Open Cockpit day. The cockpit is smaaaaall and you sit pretty high on th airframe. Long nose too. You basically sit on top off a giant gas tank. Phly should do some video field trips to the many military museums especially Aberdeen and the Smithsonian.
