With my B-24 it was at 7,000m and with my Pe-8 it was at around 4,000m-5,000m (granted when it happened in my B-24 I was still running arcade, but with my Pe-8 I was flying in realistic). Both times it was at the end of the match, but still weird that it happened.

Yes. The one time I was on an exercise and Army helis were around I never saw one that was higher than tree top level. Usually BELOW tree top level. Low enough so that you could walk under them and be able to jump up and touch it.
