Even if you had a master caution button to dismiss it, it isn't likely that any modern helicopter would allow that warning to be dismissed. Single rotor aircraft are restricted in how much forward airspeed they can have because if you develop a retreating blade stall the asymmetric lift causes loss of flight control authority. It isn't like an oil temp warning light or a chip light.

The key to any CAS is identifying a target 1st. If you aimlessly fly around low in a heli, you are going to get shot unless you are dragging your ass against the grass. You want to circle the map at a low altitude for several reasons. 1. It's a mind game. If people can't see you, hear nothing, and then start hearing your chopper, they will start to look out for you. If you fly staright through the map, the enemy will eventually find you. If you do that, you are giving the enemy an audio que for when you are going to strike or present yourself. What you want to do is circle the map while you look for a targets so the enemy always hears you. This eliminates the sound que of your Chopper's noise relaying that it is going to attack soon, thus when you finally do cut through the map, less people are looking for you since they don't know when you will strike. 2. Avoiding SPAA. Especially with missle SPAA and radar SPAA. You have to fly low in order to not get shot down, let alone be caught. 3. Sneaking up on enemy helis. You would be surprised how many helis I have snuck up on by flying low. 4. Gives you time and space to look for a target. Tips I use in Sim are: a. To wait till an enemy starts capping a zone as this gives me a 100% accurate location of an enemy. b. Look around for black smoke and watch the kill feed, if an ally dies, I can investigate to see where the enemy might be. If it is an enemy, I know where the front line is. c. Get big dick energy and fly very high (only do this if there is no missile spaa) If you fly high enough, not only will you outrange their atgms and radar spaa, but many people will keep their eyes on you or may even try to shoot you. Being this big of a distraction can help out your team. When you finally do identify a target, you can dive down if it is safe and frag them.

Hey Phly, love your videos. As I am pretty lame at the game, your videos bring me more joy than playing WT. I watch them often on my Roku. I watch a lot of KZbin on my Roku and the only videos I have trouble with are yours. Have you changed something in the buffering when you render them? After a few minutes, the playback either freezes, and I have to restart KZbin, or the audio begins to lag behind the action or both. If you get some time to check this, I'd appreciate it.

On helicopter's release, there was a russian guy with a premium Mi24, covered in red decals that would every games take bombs and do a suicide run, then instantly disconnect when dead. But at his time, nobody was playing anti air at the beginning of the match, and helis used to spawn closer to the battlefield. He had good results.
