I always dug her playing, she is one of a kind, hell I swore she was in some alternate tuning when I first heard her on kexp... Turns out she just didn't... Tune... Even though this song was written before internet streaming, people stopped paying for music, and musicians' were forced to give it all away for free, this is the song I think of when I think of how musicians are not compensated fairly for their art. I would PAY for this version of this song if you had it as a digital download. Awesome!

Well, that's not totally accurate. Gillian wrote it in 2000-2001 at a time when Napster was around and people were pirating music for free, so, yes, it was before streaming, but it wasn't before people stopped paying for music. Gillian wrote the song because of services like Napster.

Breathe, dude. Aesthetically this cover is gorgeous. And both of these women write beautiful songs of their own. This is simply a tribute and an excellent one, at that. The harmonies absolutely kill me. Mostly everything can be boiled down to capitalism’s downfalls, yes, but god let us enjoy a good thing when we hear it. Everything has always been a cover of a cover of a cover anyway, capitalism or not. Don’t let economics poison every single aspect of your life...
