Great singer and lady. Met her and we hugged once.

She was simply sublime. I will forever miss Phoebe Snow, that startling voice of hers that she rode like a roller coaster, her kind heart and humanity. There are not too many artists left these days, who are capable of holding their audiences with just their natural talent. Ms. Snow was one of those rare artists who from the first note of her concert to the last note, captivated and jaw-dropped her audience. I can only hope that Phoebe Snow is somewhere over the rainbow with her beloved daughter. RIP.

I don't know why, but this performance by Phoebe Snow blew me away the first time I saw it. I may be the only one to think this, but I am still awed by this. Thank you Jeffrey for the upload.

+Bone Head I agree- the first time I saw this- this was stuck in my mind for weeks. This was a gentle, soulful show stopper.

I don't know why, but today I found myself thinking about Phoebe Snow and her music, and I came across this. It is simply beautiful. Somehow, it captures so much about her. What a fitting way to remember her.

Was Phoebe Snow great or what? She had one of those voices that came along ever so rarely. Two notes into any song and you knew it was Phoebe Snow. Her voice, her style and her humanity will survive the test of time. There will never be another Phoebe Snow. RIP with your daughter Valerie Rose.
