As someone working to develop these skills, it's super-helpful to have a much more accomplished shooter explain their thoughts and actions during a match. Thank you! #2AforAll

Regarding your problem with the cerakote, I have to ask if that's a frequent issue? I'm considering getting a cerakoted Aero M5 at some point, but I wonder if the coating on the interior will increase the frequency of malfunctions, or just increase the length of the break-in period somewhat as it wears.

It’s usually obvious stuff when assembling like around a selector hole. This is the first time I’ve had malfunctions caused by it

Greetings Russell. Can you do a review on the G19/G45 Gen 5 Marksman Barrell vs barrells used in previous generations? I also own a G45 (MOS) and find that I get around a 3 inch drop from POA to POI at 7 yards using its factory sights. I'm new to this and not sure if that is how the G45 is supposed to work, if I need to break in the barrel a little more or what. I enjoy your content very much and find it to be highly educational. Keep up the great work!

No, it shouldn’t be anything close to that extreme. Your bore offset with a pistol red dot is usually only 1/2”-1” max. That sounds like trigger jerk/flinching to me.

@@SinistralRifleman Thanks for the input. I will put it to use the next time I hit the range.

Nice. Looking forward to your review of the Glock trigger. I get email ads for that trigger, but since I live in CA, no Gen5 for me. If it's as good as the trigger in my Gen3 Police Trade-In G22 I'd be happy.

Moving quickly from positions, shooting 200 yard targets offhand, with irons only - that's seriously challenging.
