A funny, warm and as we know, a resilient human being. Dug himself out of alcoholism and rebuilt his life in TV entertainment. He put a smile back on the face of football during the 1980s when it needed it. The man was pure gold. RIP.

Garrincha adopted the dog and named it Yimmie Greaves. When it died Garrincha had it stuffed. When Garrincha died he left the stuff dog to Jimmie in his will. It's now in Salford at the Football Hall of Fame.
