IDK how old u are man but man it seems like it has kinda always been hot there. The hottest recorded temp in phoenix was June 26, 1990 at 122° F The hottest temp ever recorded in AZ was in Lake Havasu City, northwestern Arizona, 6/29/1994, 128 F July 2009 was the all-time hottest month in Phoenix since records began in 1896. There were 15 days where highs reached 110 or hotter at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. Arizona's record for most consecutive days with the high temperature equal to or exceeding 90 degrees was set in April - October 1992 with 184 days at Yuma, Arizona. Record Hottest avg year in Arizona - 1896, / Avg temperature 63.92 degrees I didn’t look into this too much and I’m sure many of these records could be broken already this year but my point is it’s always been hot, it’s the desert lol. What will happen, of course, is that the arid and semi-arid areas will be moving North very quickly. We will lose large parts of the European and North American forests. We will have to change our agricultural methods in addition to use less water, which will mean more production under foil and in greenhouses. Solar architecture offers perfectly viable solutions that can grow more produce on smaller land areas with less water while producing endless amounts of energy. It could be done today, if necessary.

They didn't mention that these temperatures are only downtown by the airport and typical for July. The suburbs are lower, but what can you expect from reporters who don't even know that the plural of cactus is cacti? SMH.

50 year record? And that's evidence of "climate change"? How bout 75 years back? Or 100 years? 50 years is such a short time frame to try and put on a graph and say, "oh, oh, SEE! Climate crisis!" Over dramatic. Ridiculous.
