The more pages you get, the closer he gets. At the beginning he's slow and your flashlight will stun lock him, by page 6 or 7 though he's super aggressive and your flashlight barely slows him down.

Your flashlight doesn't effect anything the only thing it does it make it harder to see and last longer and make it so you can look at slender for a tiny bit longer it doesn't make it harder for the slenderman to find you though
