What the hell, this is probably the best edit I've seen of this show. It's so on point! The music selection combined with the timing of the frames, and the added meaning and everything. Ugh, so good! I especially love the timing of the last chorus' "It's time for a new empire" timed with the two of them on the mountain. Beautiful!

my god, im so emotional. the song really hits in rewatch, because it's about flying and being able to fly again, and wenzhou both have been the biggest bitches from the start but they were weighed down by trauma and the consequences of their actions. they are, in the end, setting each other free, so they can arise again. it makes me so soft

god i never noticed how inquisitive the song is. i mean, layered over wenzhou in the way you set the scenes etc, its like narrating their story and inquiring about their choices both. its like a conversation between the song's interpreter and wenzhou? i dont know if that makes sense, i dont know how to explain it, but i love it
