There is another 3 card combo that does the same thing but you don't need to run Leed for it. You need Fishborg Launcher, Neptabyss, and a Teus. You'll end up with Trish + Glacia + White Aura Whale. Also there is a 2 card combo that uses One for One and a Generic Water monster = Bahamut Shark + Toad + Neptabyss + Glacia. But you'll need to run Crystron Quandax. And nearly every Mermail player knows about the 1st turn 2 Toad + 2 Bahamut Shark combo using Teus and Aqua Spirit. Though you'll need to run Ocea + Mander. The deck has a lot of potential in going 1st. Also, adding with that combo you just gave, that gives another added option to go for. Opening an extra door for the deck.

you need traps, even mermails need traps cuz it´s completly dependant on monsters effects, if the oponent negates about 1 or 2 effects you are done

4evermryugioh They will be a good deck. They can otk without accessing the extra deck and the extra monster zone can be mostly toads that end up tributing themselves and emptying the zone for more summons

I recently just cut the ocea and mander from my deck. Do you think it's actually needed? I figured without norden the chances of doing the double bahamut turn 1 dropped a fair bit. In it's place i actually added the leed. 2 aqua spirit 1 diva 3 prince 2 infantry 1 marksman 2 dragoons 3 megalo 3 teus 1 leed 3 pike 1 turge 3 gunde 1 moulin 1 hilde maxx c and the frogs. Basically I figured the 3 gunde 1 turge and 3 abysspike would make the deck a little more grindy and decrease chances of having 100% brick hands where you can't do a single thing. Just looking for others opinion on it. Spells are just standard 1 upstart 3 moray 1 one for one, 1 soul charge and 1 mizuchi. Play one sphere to give me more disruption options (summon pike pitch heavy infantry to kill a scale or to prevent other plays.)

Ocea and Mander let the 2 shark 2 Toad play happen. Why would you ever cut those cards? Even in link format ocea is essentially a link 3 fueling machine.

I did it because outside of that one play they're absolute garbage cards. Anyways I guess ill have to give it one more try. What should I cut? 1 pike 1 hilde and then 1 other card? Really enjoy 3 gunde.

Incorrect. Outside of that play they are just Water monsters to discard for your other cards. The deck has a built in discard the shittiest card in your hand mechanic. Why are we pretending that doesnt exist?

TehZombieSniper Take out the Pikes. Pike hasn't been good in a while. He wastes your normal summon, which you could have used on Diva, Nep or Ocea off of Teus. The only real reason to play him would be a scenario in which you don't draw any of those options, but you'd like to avoid that at all costs, and with Moray in the deck, it's pretty easy. Ever since the deck has stopped running traps, Pike hasn't really served a purpose.
