Seeing all the angst in Marcyplates + Gaster’s slow descent into madness while he tries to keep his grip on sanity despite knowing what he’s doing is wrong almost makes me feel bad for him. Almost.

I honestly can't help but feel bad for him. He created Sans and Papyrus and hurt himself a lot just so Asgore didn't have to hurt another human and continue the war. It is also is shown how he actually would like a normal family life with them in Handplates. It's also obvious by looking at some of the Mercyplates comics that he was abused or neglected, or even both, as a child. Apart from that, he has a lot of symptoms of depression so it's likely he has a mental illness of SOME sort. BUT hey, I'm open for discussion.

Have you watched Handplates? if not, if you watch it, that will make sooooooooo much more sense. if you're too lazy like me, in Handplates GASTER created Sans and Pap, but they were called S-1 and P-2. He did experiments on them, blablabla, and Papyrus always saw the good in Gaster, no matter what he did to them. Aaand then comes this comic. I'm pretty sure Sans wants G-Man to apologize or tell Papyrus things a dad should say. But that's just what I think. Have a good day, and I hope this helps :3
