DAO's (gamo2) PHOENIXWAN Beatmania IIDX controller review. PHOENIXWAN is truly the best premium controller you can get. Although pretty pricey.
EDIT: Seems that the lack of the audio cable splitter was a mistake and you will receive it when you do buy one. DAO has offered to send me a replacement cable!
Beatmania Simulator used is Lunatic Rave 2. Song is Conflict.

I just want to add in case anyone is curious about getting this controller now. The newest version actually uses a USB-A and USB-C for the power and date respectively and did away with the default PS2 connector, they said that will be releasing an adaptor soon but no super good word on it the moment of this comment.

the quick changing sides part about the controller is the biggest selling point that no other controller has made to change so quickly other than gatting a large controller with two turntables like the real edition double, the virgoo fever, and the ezmax

They need to keep their hands and fingers in a specific position on the buttons unless you play freehand which is the most difficult playstyle IMO

They just serve as option keys for ease of navigating the menu as well as changing speed and failing/restarting. Makes it so you don't have to bust out the keyboard when playing.

Wait, PhoenixWans used to connect to PS2? Damn it. I just ordered the most recent version of it which needs an adapter in order to play on PS2. That would've been nice to have it already built in T_T I can't quite locate a USB adapter that connects to the PS2 controller slot.
