If price is a concern, the Costco Kirkland KS-10 is a Phonak Paradise P90 and is $1399.99 for a pair.

Are you sure that the KS-10 is exactly like the P90?
@jimcollins19223 жыл бұрын
@@ankabout1 As far as I know they are the same with possibly Tinnitus support turned off. I've seen information on that pointing both ways. Stop by your local costco and ask, but make sure you are talking to their audiologists. You are going to have a hard time finding any difference if it exists.

If u have long hair that u don't want to wear up everyday, these aren't for u. If u dont wear your hair up you will hear your hair hitting the back of the hearing aids with every movement. I just got these and I am so disappointed.

Has Phonak said anything about whether they plan to have a CROS device that is compatible with the Paradise (preferably rechargeable)? They never did develop one for the Marvel. Their current CROS device is from 2015, I believe. Makes me wonder if they think there are not enough single-side deaf customers to justify the R&D and manufacturing cost of CROS.
@HearWeb3 жыл бұрын
There is currently no CROS device available, but it has been reported that Phonak is working on one for the Paradise line.

Getting my phonak paradise rechargeable next Thursday. Expensive at 4500 euro which is not covered by health insurance. The remote service sounds great but how secure is it? Wouldn't be very funny if it got hacked lol.
@HearWeb3 жыл бұрын
The remote service is moderated through your local hearing clinic. Typically very safe.

@@HearWeb Had my hearing aids a few weeks now and have to say disappointed. My hearing clinic sell them as amplifon hearing aids so strait away the phonak app does not work and the amplifon app only allows volume up or down adjustment, the clinic are also struggling to set them up right. I hear certain sounds like water flushing and glass on glass very loud which over rules all other sound and struggle to hear voices. The auto sense is not working as in the car i hear tire, wind and engine noise (background noise) but when my wife sits next to me and chats auto sense does not lower background noise and focus on voice so again struggle to hear her. I also hear my tinnitus all day long when its supposed to be suppressed.

I saw the resound one video and this one and look at their website the only con is on android it must run Asha protocol but not on the phonak. I been curious to ask whether the resound one or phonak paradise telecoil feature is it the kind you have to be guessing the beeps or via the app accessible.

Base on what you say, I guess I'm buying hearing aids because of sleek colors, rechargeability, and iPhone adaptability. Forget about channels, bands, noise, compression algorism/schemes, and feedback reduction, blah-blah-blah-blah-blah - we consumers don't want to hear this. We want the flashy stuff (something that sells) like neon watermelon skin, condom comfort fit, iPhone apps., EMF carrying cases with orgasmic female sounds and flashing red/green/purple lights. Can we also special order a built-in printer for on-the-go capability? This is why we buy hearings at high retail cost.

Hey Salvador, thanks for your comment. Would you like a more technical analysis of these devices? We're open to your suggestions.

They work good for hearing but as far as the Bluetooth it is by far the worst I've ever used. The people can't here you and it picks up all the background noise.

I just purchased these 5 days ago. Just over $6,000 cash. I am sure if that’s the cost of the hearing aids and service provided for them as well all bundled up though. Sound quality is very, very poor when using them connected to your phone for calls and music. The app does not respect profile settings. It always reverts to the default profile. On the plus side… they are very comfortable. I have mild hearing loss.

I have had mine for 2 years. I don't know if the audiologist I'm using is incompetent or the P90's are total junk. When ever I enter a large room my P90's seem to muffle everything. I have a hard time hearing people to either side and to my front. I have real bad occlusion effect and I can't tell how loud I'm talking. As far as I'm concerned P90's are pure junk and not worth the money. I would recommend buying personal hearing aids for $400/pair. They may not work well but al least you haven't payed out $6K/pair.
